We prioritize customer satisfaction and aim to provide transparent policies for refunds and cancellations. Please read the details below to understand our terms.


We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new hosting accounts. If you are not completely satisfied with our services within the first 14 days of your contract, you will receive a full refund of the contract amount, excluding:

  • Setup fees
  • Bank/payment gateway charges
  • Domain registration fees (if applicable)

If you received a free domain with your hosting plan, the domain registration fee will be deducted from your refund. The 14-day money-back guarantee applies only to:

  • Shared Hosting
  • Reseller Hosting
  • WordPress Hosting
  • Email Hosting

Important Notes:

  • The guarantee is valid for first-time signups only.
  • If you’ve previously had an account, canceled it, and signed up again, you are not eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds are not available for domain registration/transfer/renewal, control panels, cloud servers, VPS, dedicated servers, paid support, SSL certificates, or any other paid licenses.

Refunds will not be processed if:

  • The service was suspended or terminated for cause.
  • The refund request is made after 14 days.
  • There are violations of our terms of service or illegal activities.

Free Domain Policy

A free domain is offered with the Value and Unlimited plans of shared hosting. Eligible domains include:

  • .COM
  • .ORG
  • .COM.NG
  • .ORG.NG
  • .XYZ

Domains are offered with new Value/Unlimited plans for 1, 2, or 3 years. If you cancel the hosting plan:

  • The domain charges (at standard rates) will be deducted from the refund.
  • If the refund amount is less than the domain cost, you must pay the difference.
  • Domain ownership will remain with WPhosting until the difference is paid.
  • Transfer fees apply if you wish to move the domain to another provider.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your hosting account:

  1. Log in to your client area.
  2. Submit a cancellation request under your product or service.
  3. The process takes 4-5 working days to complete.

Important:

  • Make a backup of your files before the termination date. WPhosting is not responsible for data loss after termination.
  • Backups may be available for up to 48 hours after termination but are not guaranteed.

If your hosting service includes a free domain, the domain fees will be deducted from your refund. No refunds will be provided for:

  • Requests made after the 14-day period.
  • Services terminated for terms of service violations.

Refund Policy for Renewals

Renewals and upgrades for hosting, domain registration, or other services are non-refundable. To cancel renewals:

  • Submit a cancellation request at least 15 days before the renewal date for hosting accounts.
  • Submit a cancellation request at least 10 days before the renewal date for additional products like disk space or email accounts.

For advance cancellations, email our sales team to queue your account for deletion on the renewal date. Phone requests are not accepted for cancellations.


Refund Processing

Refunds typically take 3-14 days to appear in your bank account, depending on the card issuer’s processing efficiency. Refund cycles may be delayed by 1-2 days due to batch processing.
